Joe Markert

Joe Markert has a background in retail management spending seven years as an assistant manager with Andronico’s Markets, a local upscale grocery chain. During the last two years with the company Joe transitioned into in-store systems support and rediscovered his love for technology.

In August, 1999 he took on the role of IT Administrator for Memeworks where he was responsible for the architecture and implementation of their remote networks and internal development systems. Working with the VP of Engineering he helped to develop application development standards and applied best practices process to their development team’s efforts helping to improve the team's time from concept to delivery.

For the last five years Joe has worked as an outside IT consultant for companies across the San Francisco, Bay Area from small SOHO offices to Holy Names University. He provides network consultation services ranging from design, to implementation, ongoing support and project management for software development, application and web design. He now brings his extensive experience to bear providing the technology and support necessary to bring pivot.point into it’s own as a successful, forward-thinking, change-management consultancy.
